10 Gifts Your Mom Wants This Mother’s Day

What to get mom for Mother’s Day is always a tough question. Have you ever seen the meme that says “My mom deserves a private island but all I could afford was this candle”? I’ve definitely felt like that on many Mother’s Days! (Sorry about the lame candle, Mom!) My mom really does deserve the world and I wish I could give it to her! I’m willing to bet most of us can’t purchase our mom a private island, so I’ve come up with this list of cute, affordable ideas that any mom would love to get on Mother’s Day – minus the candles. Hopefully my mom isn’t reading this one because I’m definitely picking up a few of these gifts for her!

Top 10 Mother’s Day Gifts

Alex and Ani Bracelet. I normally don’t buy jewelry for other people because I think it’s too risky and they might not like what I pick out. However, Alex and Ani bracelets are pretty timeless and simple. If you want to get a small piece of jewelry for your mom, this “Mom” charm bracelet is a safe bet.

Recipe Keeper. If you have a mom that loves to cook, and knows all the family’s secret recipes, this one is for you. I have always begged my mom to write a cookbook for all of us so that we can recreate her delicious dishes. This recipe keeper can help her organize everything and get her started! It even comes with recipe cards for her to fill out.

Electric Wine Bottle Opener. Let’s be real – I might buy this for myself instead of for my mom. If your mom is a low-key wino, she will absolutely love this. With the simple push of a button, her favorite pinot will be ready to pour in seconds. Throw in a bottle of wine to become the favorite child!

Bath Bombs. Moms work their butts off and deserve a little relaxation time. I am a huge fan of bath bombs and I bet your mom will be, too! If you have a little extra cash, kick it up a notch and create an entire “spa” themed gift along with the bath bombs.

Essential Oils. I use essential oils basically every day and cant tell you how much I love them. I use a diffuser, but there are tons of other ways to get your oily on without buying a diffuser. You can put a few drops into a spray bottle, on a cotton ball, in the dryer, or even directly on your skin. The benefits of essential oils are endless. I have done tons of research on the best brands and this one is top notch. It is slightly more expensive than other brands on Amazon, but the quality is much better. If you are interested in a diffuser, you can get a small one here!

Tile Mate. Is your mom constantly losing her keys or other little items? With this incredible little gadget, she will never lose anything again! Mom can attach it to her keys and use her phone to make the keys “ring” if she can’t find them! It also works in reverse – if she loses her phone she can press and hold the tile to make her phone start ringing. I’m dropping hints to my husband as I’m writing this because I totally need this!

Fitbit. This one is another gadget mom might like. Hopefully she wont think you are trying to tell her to lose weight! No seriously, these fitness trackers are fun and motivating. This is one of the more expensive items on the list, but if you have a little wiggle room in your budget, a Fitbit is an excellent idea.

Funny Book. If your mom has a sense of humor, she will absolutely love a laughable book. Moms have it super tough most of the time and they deserve a laugh! Check out some of these best sellers!

Travel Mug. Okay, hear me out on this one! I know coffee mugs are super cliche and unwanted most of the time. However, there are some really cute mugs out there now! These will create some extreme mom-envy.

Sweet Card If you are totally broke this Mother’s Day, you can’t go wrong with getting your mom a heartfelt card. At the end of the day, she just wants to feel loved and appreciated. A few kind words can go a long way!
