February/March Income Report

Are You Sabotaging Your Finances- (1)

I started this blog on January 30, 2017. That date is when I posted a link to Upscale Cheapskate on my Facebook timeline for the very first time. I always wanted to start a blog but never really pushed myself to do it. Ive been posting on my blog for almost 3 months now and Im still loving it! I don’t see myself ever getting tired of it. It’s a great creative outlet and something that I look forward to working on every week.

I am trying to add little things here and there to help make Upscale Cheapskate profitable. There is so much to learn in the blogging world that it’s sometimes overwhelming!

I want to take all of you guys, my readers, on this experience with me! Part of that means I want to share when/how/if I make money off the blog. How bloggers made money was always a little mysterious to me, and after doing tons of research, I want to share with you guys, too!

Every month I plan on posting an “income report” that details any money I made from Upscale Cheapskate. Some months, it will most likely be a big fat $0! I did make a little bit right of the bat which was really nice! It made me realize that I actually can make some extra cash from just doing something I enjoy!

That being said, I will not include any income until I actually get it deposited in my account. For example, I made some money off Amazon affiliate marketing, but it takes a few months to get the deposit.

SOOOO, without further ado, heres my February and March income reports:

AirBnB: $20

Yep… thats all I got for the month of February! This really isn’t cash income either. Its a $20 credit to be used on my next AirBnB stay. I got this because someone used my AirBnB referral! (Thank you!) We always stay at AirBnBs when we travel so I still really value that credit!

TOTAL: $20

AirBnB: $40

Woohoo! I got more AirBnB credit. Super happy that it increased! Guys – please use my link to get $40 off your first AirBnB stay.

Chase: ~$294

So my Chase earning is not exactly cash income either. I got 20,000 points on my Chase card because of referrals. 20,000 points equates to just under $300 of travel credit. We use our points all the time for flights so I really value this income too! Keep using my referral link!

TOTAL: $334

Hopefully next month will be even more! I think my Amazon deposits should be going through soon 🙂 My goal is to increase every month. I had a really good Chase earning so thats going to be tough to beat!
